Headteachers' Welcomes

Welcome from our Executive Headteacher

Mrs Julie Fardell

Welcome to our website, where you will find a great deal of information about Victoria College, the work we do, our rich and creative curriculum and the exciting opportunities we provide our learners.

Victoria College provides specialist education to learners aged 19 to 25 years with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex physical and health needs. We are part of a hard Federation with Victoria School and Cherry Oak School which gives us many opportunities for collaborative work and sharing good practice. We are also in a formal partnership with Bournville College where our learners are registered and Victoria College is commissioned to provide the provision.

It is an honour to be the Executive Headteacher of such a wonderful college.

Our young people are fantastic and we are very fortunate to have such a dedicated and very creative staff team which includes teachers, Higher Level Teaching Assistants, classroom support staff, medical staff, physiotherapists, administrative support staff, technical support staff, lunchtime supervisors and bus guides.

Both of the schools in our Federation are judged as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in 2009 and 2014, and we believe Victoria College is too! We are constantly striving to make further improvements and at the heart of all that we do are our learners. Every young person does matter at Victoria College.

I hope you enjoy our site and look forward to hearing from you. If you have any comments or suggestions, then please don't hesitate to contact us.

Welcome from our Head of Education

Mr Andrew Middleton

A huge welcome to our College website - it gives a flavour of what we do here at Victoria College and who we are.

We are extremely proud of our College and the journey we have been on since the building process began in early 2014.

At Victoria College we aim to extend the opportunities for learning to young adults with Profound and Multiple Learning difficulties beyond the age of 19. We believe that everyone can continue to learn and flourish and lead a fulfilled life and we value everyone as the individual they are.

If you like what you see on the website and would like to know more or would like to come and visit us you are welcome to contact us. We look forward to welcoming you in the future. Meanwhile, enjoying browsing our site.
